Paper Mache House

In movies and film production, sets are often constructed with structures that appear enormous on-screen but are, in reality, just a few inches thick. At first glance, you might mistake this building for a prop on a movie set, but it’s a residence where people live.

The peculiar lighting conditions at the time of the photograph resulted in the sides of the building being shrouded in the darkness of the night, leaving only the illuminated portion within the frame. The result is a building that uncannily resembles a flattened sheet of colored paper.
