#45: Antarctica: The Only Place Without Ants

Anyone who’s ever dealt with ants knows the frustration of finding them marching across your counter, picnic table, or pantry. They show up everywhere, squeeze through any opening, and seem nearly impossible to eliminate. And don’t even start with bees, wasps, or snakes — summer is practically a parade of tiny creatures trying to ruin your day.

That’s why this fact feels like paradise: Antarctica is the only continent completely free of ants, bees, wasps, and nearly everything else that normally haunts our warmer climates. Sure, it’s freezing… but you’d never have to swat a wasp again. Sounds almost tempting.
