#58: The Full Version of a Familiar Saying
We all love little sayings that make us feel smart or connected — “Great minds think alike” is one of those lines people toss out when they and a friend have the same idea. But most of us have no clue that the original phrase is actually longer… and has a twist.

The full version is: “Great minds think alike… but fools seldom differ.” That ending completely changes the meaning. It reminds us that just because two people agree doesn’t automatically make them geniuses. Over time, the first half stuck because it sounds flattering — and the second half quietly disappeared.
