#60: Eternal Summer in Hawaii
In most parts of the U.S., the weather puts everyone through a yearly roller coaster: blazing hot summers, chilly falls, freezing winters, then back to spring. But one state lives in its own climate dream — Hawaii.

Thanks to its location, Hawaii enjoys warm, tropical weather almost year-round. It doesn’t really “do” winter the way the mainland does. While people in Chicago are digging their cars out of piles of snow, folks in Hawaii are throwing on shorts and heading to the beach. They might miss out on snow days, but waking up to ocean breezes and palm trees doesn’t sound like a bad trade.
