#62: Pirate School Is Real (Sort Of)
As kids, many of us dreamed of becoming pirates — sailing the seas, hunting treasure, and yelling “Ahoy!” at anything that moved. Then we grew up, got jobs, and realized the pirate lifestyle isn’t exactly listed on LinkedIn.

But at MIT, there’s a quirky little offering: a “pirate certificate.” Students can earn it by taking a combination of archery, sailing, fencing, and pistol or rifle classes. It’s not going to turn you into Jack Sparrow, but it’s a fun, nerdy way of honoring that childhood fantasy in a very MIT way.
