Nicole Kidman in “Australia”
One of Australia’s most famous and beloved exports, Nicole Kidman was, of course, the number one choice to star in the 2008 Aussie epic Australia, alongside fellow compatriot Hugh Jackman.
However, she has since revealed that the movie, though a box-office success, is nothing but a flop in her eyes. “I squirmed in my seat,” she admitted in an interview on radio station 2dayFM. “I can’t look at this movie and be proud of what I’ve done … It’s just impossible for me to connect to it emotionally at all.”
