Step 2. The Fabric
This step may take you the longest time, mainly if you cannot decide between particular patterns. You may want a reupholstered chair that gives a more antique look to your room, or you may wish to a plain color, but what color? For the room, what patterns will work best?
There are certain features to think about the time to choose your fabric. For example, think of in which you’ll put the furniture. If you use the dining room chair, look for material that won’t stain. Think about where it will sit and what other furniture pieces will go with it if you use it as a standard piece of furniture. Be sure to add four extra inches on each side, no matter what kind of fabric you pick.
