Distract With a Question
Here’s a fun psychology trick that works surprisingly well: if you’re playing rock, paper, scissors, ask the other person a random question just before they make their choice.
For some reason, this often causes them to choose scissors. The human brain can be quirky, and this trick takes advantage of that. Try it out next time you’re in a friendly competition and see if it holds up!
