Careful With Cold, Clammy Hands
First impressions matter, and one of the quickest ways to ruin one is by shaking hands with cold, clammy hands. People tend to associate warmth with friendliness and trust, so if your hands are cold, it can subconsciously make you seem less approachable.
Before shaking hands, try to warm them up by rubbing them together or placing them in your pockets. If you’re in a pinch, head to the bathroom and use the hand dryer to get some warmth.
