Use Strategic Nodding

Nodding while you’re speaking may seem like a strange thing to do, but it can be a surprisingly effective tool in conversation. By nodding subtly while you talk, you can subconsciously encourage others to agree with you or at least follow your line of thinking.

It’s important not to overdo it — too much nodding can come off as awkward or forced. But a well-timed nod can make people feel like you’re in sync with them, helping to build rapport.
