She expressed, “Initially, I felt isolated because I lacked personal connections with those who had endured similar struggles with endometriosis or fertility issues. It then struck me: I had never witnessed an African-American figure in the public eye openly discussing endometriosis or their battles with infertility. Without relatable representation, one feels alone and endures pain in silence.”
