4. Large Appliances
When you get a new fridge, washing machine, dryer, or stove, it is natural to give the old one as it is still in good condition, but it is not a wise choice. Most thrift stores won’t pick up large items, especially appliances. To get rid of an old device, call a hardware store like Home Depot or Lowe to see if they can pull it off.
