7. Wall-mounted display plates
Something that can be kept out of your drawers or cabinets can only open up more room in your kitchen for other tools. Many people have nice plates that they inherited from their grandmothers or mothers and use for special occasions. However, it is doubtful that these collections of dishes are used regularly. You may not have enough room to store all of these items unless you have several china cabinets in your home. Many people keep these plates in their attic or garage because they have nowhere else to store them.
If this describes you, you should consider hanging these plates on the wall. It is an excellent way to show any antique or vintage set you adore but are hesitant to use for meals. It also functions as a sort of art gallery wall. In my mother’s kitchen, she has plates with beautiful drawings on them that she inherited from her family. They offer the kitchen a cottagecore aesthetic, which only adds to the cozy atmosphere.
