47. Believe Your Intuition
Most of us heard the saying of following your instinct. Our intuition will often lead to good decisions, especially if you want to decorate your living space. Whenever you start such a big project, advice from family, friends or even colleagues comes pouring in. However, you need to remember that at the end of the day, it’s you who will be living in your home. So, choose whatever you feel is the right one. If you are stuck between different options, go with your intuition.
However, remember that picking what you want could lead to some damage to your budget if your mind is fixed on something expensive. Now, don’t think this is the end. You can often find a cheaper dupe of whatever luxury style you were aiming to decorate your house with. When you see something listed with hundreds or thousands of dollars, make time to search the online or offline vintage stores. There’s a big chance that you could find something similar that doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg.
