21. Uninformed mothers living in the suburbs
This story talked about the ignorance of a group of mothers who called the fire department since a situation they could have easily prevented.
Recently, a group of suburban moms in San Diego decided to go up a local hiking spot called Cowles Mountain with their kids. It looks like they ignored a heat stroke warning posted at the top of the trail. Notably, the temperature exceeded 90 degrees, and they subjected their newborn to this heat. This trail is quite easily accessible by ‘Instagram-worthiness.’ A lot of inexperienced hikers flock there. Many times there is little or no water because they underestimate how hot and complicated it is. As a result, EMS and helicopters arrived because the mothers were too tired and exhausted to come down. Firefighters must go up and give water, check the babies’ condition, and even carry the babies down. Mothers have made a severe mistake, but they still feel it is normal.
