15. Keep the kitchen clean
It is challenging to keep your kitchen from being cluttered by the many activities taking place in space. From cooking to eating and even socializing, everything happens under one roof. Therefore, your kitchen eventually stores many items in its cabinets and drawers. There are many different ways to try and decode your kitchen space. You can focus on decoding the kitchen by moving to one category at a time. You can start with cutting boards, utensils and glass utensils, then move on to making cakes. Or, if not, you can try targeting a specific area through every part of the kitchen.
Whatever space you are targeting first, you need to empty the entire space first. Then start evaluating the items you have put out and put everything you need in their organized space. You can start with the factory storage first, such as the top cupboard and the pantry section. When you’re done with those areas, you can move right into the lower drawers, cabinets, and even the spaces right under the kitchen sink.
After doing these stages, it’s time to focus on the tabletop. Try moving as many items as possible out of that space and moving them into the storage area. Keep only the items you need to use every day. Keeping them on the table makes them easy to access. Finally, as a final step, take your trash and fill it up with items you no longer want in your kitchen. If you need those items, but not in the kitchen, keep them in the storage or other rooms.
