Surviving A Grizzly Attack

In the film “The Revenant,” Leonardo DiCaprio portrays the life of Hugh Glass, who endured numerous hardships, including a harrowing grizzly bear attack. From the beginning, pirates captured Glass, marking his life with resilience, and he served them for two years. Later, a Pawnee Indian Tribe took him, and he eventually married one of their women.

Subsequently, to make a living, he joined the fur trade industry and ventured up and down the Missouri River with a group known as “Ashley’s Hundred,” led by General William Ashley. While on a trapping expedition, he encountered a massive grizzly bear that fiercely defended her cubs. Glass bravely fought off the bear, but the attack left him severely injured and clinging to life.
