The Liu Song Dynasty descended into chaos as Emperor Qianfei embarked on a violent spree that began with the murder of his brother and continued with the slaughter of many family members. Those fortunate enough to escape death found themselves imprisoned and put on public display as a perverse form of punishment. Qianfei’s unchecked anger became a dangerous force, leading to the demise of anyone who incurred his wrath.
In a surprising turn of events, one of Qianfei’s servants took it upon themselves to liberate the nation from the tyrannical ruler. Acting on their initiative, this servant murdered the cruel emperor, whose death was met with little mourning. Qianfei’s reign, marked by extreme cruelty and violence, led many to view his demise as a welcome relief from his oppressive rule.
