Taliesin West in Frank Lloyd Wright design

15. Taliesin West

From 1937 until he died in 1959, Taliesin West served as Frank Lloyd Wright’s winter home. Wright chose this site in Arizona as the perfect site for a building used to live, study, and study. Joint. The Arizona Desert has much inspired the design of the building. Outside there is local desert rock amidst the concrete because Wright vigorously used the available materials near the construction site instead of the material flying out. Natural light is an integral part of the design of Taliesin West, too.

This iconic building is located in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Frank Lloyd Wright Avenue. Today, it has the School of Architecture at Taliesin as well as the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. These beautiful house tours are also available.
