16. Rosenbaum House

Located in Florence, Alabama, the only building built by Frank Lloyd Wright in the state is the Rosenbaum Residence. This home is an essential part of Wright’s Usonian idea and is 26 Usonian buildings from pre-World War II. The Rosenbaum House is referred to by scholars as to the purest of Usonian examples.”

Built-in 1940, the Jacobs House in Madison, Wisconsin, was influenced by another Usonian property, the Rosenbaum House. It lies on the north side of the Tennessee River on 2 acres of land. Besides, the house is L-shaped and constructed of natural materials such as cypress wood and brick. To eliminate the difference between the interior and exterior, glass is a prominent component of the house’s architecture. Almost all rooms in the house have their door that leads outside.
