Wooden and paper sliding doors are a tradition in every old Japanese house. These are great because you can often open up a room to make it feel much broader or close it for extra privacy. (Unfortunately, they’re not soundproof!) Since most Western homes don’t have sliding doors, this project will need to be customized. With the right style elements, it can make your home look very impressive.
