Unibrows – Tajikistan

In most Western societies, having a unibrow would often lead to mockery or, at the very least, people staring at you. In these regions, it is generally considered less attractive to go ungroomed in such a manner. However, this perspective is not universal.

In contrast, in Tajikistan, the unibrow holds a different cultural significance, considered a symbol of beauty for both men and women. The admiration for unibrows is so strong that even young girls who do not naturally have one will draw it in with a pencil to emulate this desirable trait.
