34. Dryer Balls Made at Home

Dryer balls are meant to help the clothes dry faster by tossing and removing them from one another so that hot air can flow more freely around them. There are other ways to make dryer balls at home, but this isn’t one of them. Instead, add a good smell to everything, roll up two socks together and add a few drops of essential oil. Sounds great; the only problem is that a pair of balled-up socks won’t fluff up your clothes and dry them as quickly as you’d like.

Using two tennis balls in your dryer would work better. Another great idea about using a dryer for clothes is to make sure the unit isn’t overloaded. Separate a big load of laundry that needs to be dried into two pieces. This will increase the chances of your products drying correctly. Two drying cycles will seem unnecessary, but you’ll end up hanging stuff to dry anyway if you don’t. Dryer balls, not the homemade DIY ones, are your allies if you don’t want to use all that electricity!
