Marilyn Monroe’s final film project before her tragic passing was “Something’s Got To Give.” Numerous highs and lows marked her life at the time, and Marilyn found it challenging to show up for work, often citing illness consistently.
To compensate for her occasional lack of professionalism, Marilyn injected a playful spirit into her scenes. During one particular sequence, Marilyn was supposed to swim in a pool wearing a flesh-colored bathing suit, but she chose to forgo the suit altogether. Sadly, Marilyn’s demise occurred before the completion of the film, leading to its never being released to the public.
