The Zoo Expands
Our previous examples featured dogs and ferrets, the latter being somewhat unusual but at least native to the USA. What’s genuinely uncommon to encounter in public spaces across America is a monkey. However, spotting one at Walmart doesn’t come as a shock. We can only speculate why this woman has a monkey, but they share a close bond. Is it even legal to keep a monkey as a pet in this country? Given that this woman hasn’t been apprehended, it’s safe to assume it is permissible under certain circumstances.
