Clear-Cut Rules
Most people refrain from approaching and touching another person’s baby without permission. Still, it happens so frequently for this woman that she felt compelled to place a sign over her baby’s head to discourage such interactions. The implication that it has occurred often enough to warrant such a sign is somewhat problematic. On the other hand, perhaps she’s using the sign to deter strangers when she briefly leaves her baby unattended. We hope that isn’t the case for various reasons, even if it makes for a humorous photograph.
