This fantasy of life on the road can be done by travel bloggers who make everything look great. You can experiment, but don’t forget that people need to rest and settle down after a while. That is why people settled before they were a hunter-gatherer society.

It can take a lot of hours to complete the smallest tasks like washing clothes or shopping for groceries, simply because you don’t have the opportunity to have a consistent habit where you are familiar with your surroundings. Many van lifers eventually get burned out and chose to rest for several months. Or, they can only keep up the lifestyle for a year before returning to normal life. Van life sounds more tiring than anything.
