Jerry Seinfeld
Like many comedians, Jerry Seinfeld began his career performing at open mic nights in various improv clubs. However, luck favored him when, in 1976, he appeared at an open mic event at Catch a Rising Star, which led to his appearance on a televised comedy special.
After becoming a favorite late-night talk show guest, Jerry co-created “Seinfeld” 1988 alongside Larry David. Remarkably, for a show about seemingly nothing, it quickly became the most-watched sitcom on TV, cementing Jerry’s status as a household name.
