We always expect celebrities to look clean and polished. However, some do not smell as good as they look. Stars like Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have revealed that they don’t even bathe regularly, while Shia LaBeouf has been reported to have a bad body odor. Here are some other stars with bad hygiene habits that you might not know.
Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell
We do not know if this is an excuse or whether it is actually how they feel, but Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell have said that they shower less often since there is a drought in their hometown of California. Either way, they have both expressed that they believe in ‘waiting for the stink’ and sometimes even forget to bathe their kids.
Kristen Stewart
Some sources reported that one of the big reasons behind Kristen’s break up with her ex, Robert Pattinson, was because Kristen’s sense of hygiene turned off Rob. The actress only brushes her teeth once a day and rarely washes her hair. While they were promoting their film, Twilight, she made more of an effort, but once that was all over, she returned to being her grungy self, and Rob was not into it.
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher
One of the mentionable celebs to weigh in on the debate regarding bathing was one of our favorite Hollywood couples, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis. Well, we have to admire these two from afar, seeing as they have confessed to avoiding bathing. Mila and Ashton have relayed that they do not wash or shower their kids daily.

Jake Gyllenhaal claimed in an interview that he does not find bathing to be that necessary. The actor believes in having fresh breath and good manners, but he also believes that there is a reason to avoid bathing. Jake thinks skipping a shower or two can help the body self-clean and maintain skin.
Zac Efron
Although Zac Efron may look all fresh-faced, that does not mean he actually smells good. According to many sources, Zac does not enjoy showering. Apparently, he is constantly involved in activities that make you sweat a lot, like working out and playing basketball; but then he will just end his day without a shower. Sometimes the superstar will even go as far as wiping himself down with baby wipes and calling it a day.
Shia LaBeouf
Shia LaBeouf is super dedicated to getting into character, like the time he acted on Fury, and went to quite nasty lengths to fully embrace his role as a WWII soldier. That could also be because the actor does not mind having a stench following him around. His co-star in Sia’s “Elastic Heart” music video, Maddie Ziegler, said that she told Shia he was dirty and handed him some wipes.
Robert Pattinson
When Robert Pattinson was asked about the rumors going around about the fact that he hadn’t washed his hair for six weeks, the actor said that he doesn’t “see the point” in shampooing. In fact, the actor elaborated that it is not only his hair that reeks but also his apartment because he does not clean it regularly. One of the crew members on the Twilight set recounted that Robert’s lack of bathing drove some people working on the series crazy.
